On September 9, 2002, we lost our beloved friend and mentor Walt
Reno. Walt
was 75 at the time of his passing and was loved by all who listened to
his wonderful stories about Las Vegas, golfing and the many entertainers
he interviewed in his 30 years of broadcasting. We were very lucky to
have completed 12 programs with Walt, his humor and fascination of
people were his trademark here at Travel Talk Radio. His monthly
segment, RENO in VEGAS will be missed and as well as his legendary
salute to our Southern CA audience opening with "Helloooo San
Diegoooo"! and his close ... "Keep those Chargers"! We
love and miss you Walt.
